First there was Black Friday, then Cyber Monday. American Express and Digitas launched Small Business Saturday to support independent companies, shops, and restaurants. The U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution in support of Small Business Saturday, and elected officials in all 50 states and Washington D.C. championed the day. Small Business Saturday is the day we celebrate the Shop Small movement to drive shoppers to local merchants across the U.S. Small Business Saturday is, in fact, huge.
