In 2018, the whole world was celebrating Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday. Brands lined up to commemorate the famous mouse’s magic milestone. But they all forgot one crucial detail: It was Minnie’s birthday, too.
But LEGO DUPLO didn’t forget. They celebrated Minnie by updating the iconic Disney film, The Birthday Party, so Minnie didn’t miss out this time around.
This animated short was produced in partnership with Atomic Kid Studios leveraging a variety of techniques including 3D modeling, character animation, simulations and sound design. We even recorded with the original VO actors Russi Taylor + Bret Iwan.
To date the video as surpassed over 100 million views on YouTube.
